Democrats are Pussies or No Pun Intended

So I was listening to NPR today.

Why? Because I enjoy being pissed off and depressed; that’s why.

So I was listening to NPR today and they had some lady on talking about, since she can’t vote for Hillary she’s gonna vote for McCain.

WTF?!

So the announcer asked her “Why the radical shift?” and the lady went on with all the normal closet racists platitudes:

“Oh, Obama is well spoken and handsome but I don’t like his policies.”

“But Obama’s policies are virtually identical to Hillary’s.”

“Well, I just don’t trust him. He hasn’t done anything. At least McCain has been in office for a while and has worked both sides of the aisle.”

“But what about McCain’s Conservative views on abortion?”

“Well, I marched for civil rights and a woman’s right to choose but the deck is stacked in the supreme court and there’s nothing we can do about abortion at this point anyways, so even though I’ve been a life-long democrat I’m going to vote for John McCain.”

Wow. So basically “I ain’t gonna vote for this Black Mofo.” And what’s worse, these closet racist feelings seem to be mixed in with bitter feminist feelings about Hillary.

Now, I can understand women being bitter about Hillary. Here we’ve been forced to choose between two historic events: A serious Black Presidential Candidate and a serious Female Presidential Candidate. My girl, like the rest of democratic America (with the possible exception of this lunatic on NPR) seem to think they should run together.

I personally think they’d lose together and that Obama needs to go get himself a Jewish running mate or a white looking Mexican but that’s just my opinion.

What’s galling to me though is that people would just say fuck it and vote Republican. I mean that’s not conviction, that’s cutting off the nose to spite the face. Or in plain speak, just plain stupid.

I mean that’s actually worse than voting for Nader. You don’t use your vote to send a message, you use your vote to try and elect someone who can actually help you.

Only people who are going to be well off no matter who wins, use their vote to send a message. People who need health care, jobs, gas in their car will be voting for Obama.

And not because he’s Black but because McCain isn’t even pretending that he’s going to change anything. The country is going down, Americans are dying abroad, the price of oil is still going up, we are reviled internationally and McCain is saying, let’s continue this great trend.

If you are really going to vote for the decrepit, racist, Bush wana-be over the young idealistic guy then I say,

American is gonna get what it deserves.
And it won’t be terrorist attack
It’ll be Americans trying to sneak over the border into Mexico to get food and jobs.
